An 18 to 20 day expedition combining the classic Everest Base Camp trek with the summit of Lobuche East at 6,119 metres - one of the most technically demanding and scenically spectacular trekking peaks in the Khumbu region. Unlike Mera Peak or Island Peak, Lobuche East involves a genuine mixed rock and ice ridge that requires solid crampon technique, rope skills, and the confidence to move on exposed terrain at high altitude. The approach follows the main EBC corridor through Namche Bazaar and Gorak Shep before branching to the Lobuche Peak Base Camp below the east face. The summit rewards climbers with a close-range view of Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Cho Oyu, and the entire upper Khumbu glacier. The route starts and ends in Lukla.
