The highest altitude in the Upper Mustang region is around 4,200 meters (13,780 ft) at Lo La Pass, which lies near the border of Nepal and Tibet.
During the Upper Mustang trek, most travelers reach this maximum elevation while exploring areas around Lo Manthang. Compared to other high-altitude treks in Nepal, Mustang is considered relatively moderate because it doesn’t go above extreme elevations like 5,000m+, but proper acclimatization is still important.
